In audio evidences, many times the question arises about the identity of the speaker. At times there are cases in which a speaker in an audio recording is known but the same person denies the fact of being the speaker. Other than this, many a times the speaker in the audio recording is unknown and his/her identification is required. In such cases the speaker identification becomes necessary. To do so, the specimen voice sample(s) is/are compared with the disputed voice sample(s) to reveal the identity of the speaker solely on the basis of his/her speech. The forensic experts perform both aural as well as spectrographic analysis of the voice samples thereby establishing the individuality of the speaker.
